APAAR ID Requirement Relaxed for MH CET Law 2026 Registration; Check Key Dates and Details: APAAR ID, which was earlier made compulsory, is now not mandatory for MH CET Law 2026 registration. Candidates can submit the application form for the 3-year LLB programme until February 28, 2026, while the last date to apply for the 5-year LLB programme is March 15, 2026. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is currently inviting online applications for its 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes. Eligible and interested candidates can complete the application process through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. As the MH CET Law Registration 2026 process continues for both courses, many applicants have been asking whether an APAAR ID is compulsory for MH CET Law Registration 2026.

Maharashtra CET Law Admission 2026: Is APAAR ID Compulsory?

The MH CET Cell has clarified that APAAR ID is not compulsory for MH LAW CET 2026 registration. Although it was initially made mandatory, the decision has now been reversed following several complaints regarding technical difficulties linked to Aadhaar authentication and DigiLocker integration.

While possessing an APAAR ID is no longer required for submitting the application form, candidates are advised to generate one to ensure smoother documentation and verification during the counselling stage.

Candidates must keep the following documents ready while filling out the application form:

Aadhaar Card Class 10th Marksheet Class 12th Marksheet

Graduation Marksheet (For 3-Year LLB only)

EWS Certificate (If applicable)

Scanned Passport Size Photograph

Valid Photo ID Proof

Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (For OBC/VJ/DT/NT/SBC)

Scanned Signature

Domicile Certificate (For Maharashtra State candidates)

Caste Certificate (If applicable)

Caste Validity Certificate

MH Law CET Exam Date 2026

The CET Cell Maharashtra will organise the 3-year LLB entrance examination on April 1 and April 2, 2026. The 5-year LLB entrance test is scheduled for May 8, 2026, and will be conducted in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
