- Electronic gadgets of any kind are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall
- Textual materials such as sheets or study material are not allowed
- Candidates must reach the exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the examination
- A scribble pad will be provided inside the exam hall for rough work and must be returned to the invigilator after the examination
GATE 2026 Dress Code for Male and Female Candidates
The authorities have not released any specific dress code guidelines for the GATE 2026 examination. However, candidates are advised to wear loose and comfortable clothing to facilitate the security checking process. Candidates should avoid wearing the following items at the GATE 2026 test centre:
