NTA will soon allot the exam city and exam date for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination. The city intimation slip PDF is expected to be released in the first week of January 2026 on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. To download the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip, candidates must log in using their JEE Main application number and password.

NTA has announced the tentative exam windows for JEE Main 2026

Session 1 and Session 2. The details are provided below:

Shifts in JEE Main 2026 Exam

NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 examination in two shifts per day:

• First Shift: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
• Second Shift: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Through the city intimation slip, NTA will allot candidates their specific exam date and city. The exam shift will be communicated later through the JEE Main 2026 admit card.

JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip LIVE: How to Check Exam Date and Centre?

The exam city where candidates are required to appear will be mentioned on the JEE Main city intimation slip. However, the exact exam centre name and address will be provided only through the JEE Main admit card, which will be released 3 to 4 days before the examination date.

While the exam date will be mentioned in the city intimation slip, the exam shift details will be available only on the admit card.
