According to the Latest Announcements section on the KEA portal, a fresh registration window for NEET PG 2025 has been opened on 18 January 2026. This registration opportunity is specifically provided due to the lowering of the NEET PG 2025 qualifying percentile, allowing more candidates to become eligible for counselling and admission. KEA has activated the application link for eligible candidates to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeline.
In addition, KEA has also issued a notification dated 17 January 2026 concerning NEET PG 2025 admissions to postgraduate medical courses under the 3rd round (Mop-Up round). This round is intended to fill vacant PG medical seats following earlier counselling rounds. Candidates who meet the revised eligibility criteria can participate in this mop-up round for admission.
The authority further informed that registration, document verification, and deposition of original documents are being conducted in connection with the reduced qualifying percentile. Eligible candidates are required to complete all mandatory steps, including verification and submission of original certificates, to be considered for seat allotment in the subsequent counselling process.
KEA has advised all NEET PG 2025 aspirants to regularly visit the official website for detailed notifications, schedules, eligibility criteria, and instructions related to registration and counselling. Failure to comply with the guidelines or deadlines may result in disqualification from the admission process.
These announcements come as a significant relief for candidates who narrowly missed eligibility earlier and now have another opportunity to secure admission to postgraduate medical courses in Karnataka.
