KEAM 2026 Application Deadline Extended: Eligibility Criteria, Application Process Explained: The Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has informed candidates that the facility to add new courses to applications that have already been submitted will be made available at a later stage. As per the revised schedule, applicants are required to upload important documents, including the Class 10 certificate.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has officially extended the last date for submitting the KEAM 2026 application form. Candidates seeking admission to engineering, architecture, pharmacy and medical allied programmes can now apply up to 5 pm on February 6. This extension is applicable to new applicants as well as those who have already registered but have pending steps to complete. For the latest information regarding the KEAM syllabus, examination dates and other related updates, candidates are advised to visit IE Education.

In a further clarification, the Kerala CEE reiterated that candidates will be given an opportunity at a later stage to include additional courses in their already submitted applications. As per the updated timeline, applicants must upload essential documents such as the Class 10 certificate, proof of date of birth, and nativity certificate on or before February 6.

Meanwhile, the portal for uploading other compulsory certificates will continue to remain open until 5 pm on February 7.

How to apply for KEAM 2026

Candidates can complete the KEAM 2026 application process by following the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Visit the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the “KEAM 2026 Registration” link and complete the registration by providing basic personal details.

Step 3: Log in using the credentials generated during registration and fill out the application form with the required academic and personal information.

Step 4:Upload scanned copies of the photograph, signature and necessary certificates, including the Class 10 certificate and nativity proof.

Step 5: Pay the applicable application fee using the online payment gateway.

Step 6:Submit the application form and download or take a printout for future reference.

Applicants must ensure that registration is completed, all required documents are uploaded and the application fee is paid within the revised deadlines so that their applications are accepted.

As stated in the official notification, KEAM 2026 admit cards will be issued from April 1, 2026, and can be downloaded from the official website.

KEAM is conducted every year for admission to various professional courses such as engineering, architecture, pharmacy and allied programmes offered by institutions across Kerala. The extension of the application deadline is likely to help candidates who could not complete the registration process within the earlier deadline.
