MHT CET 2026 PCM 2nd Attempt Exam : Shift 1 Concludes, Shift 2 Reporting Begins Today: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 for the PCM group resumed on May 18, 2026, after a short two-day pause in the examination schedule. The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra is conducting the examination in two separate shifts today for candidates appearing in the second attempt of the engineering entrance examination.

The Shift 1 examinationhas already commenced and concluded at 12 PM, while candidates scheduled for Shift 2 are being instructed to reach their allotted examination centres well before the reporting deadline to complete all mandatory security formalities.

The MHT CET 2026 examination is being conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode across multiple centres in the state and outside Maharashtra.

MHT CET 2026 PCM Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

As per the official examination structure, the MHT CET PCM paper is divided into two major sections:

  • Physics and Chemistry – First 90 Minutes

  • Mathematics – Remaining 90 Minutes

The total duration of the examination is 180 minutes (3 Hours).

  • PCM Group Total Marks: 200 Marks

Negative Marking

  • There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

  • Unattempted questions also do not attract any penalty.
