NEET-MDS 2026 Result Announced: NBEMS Releases Scores, Ranks and Category-Wise Cut-Off for MDS Admissions: NEET-MDS 2026 Result Update: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially declared the NEET-MDS 2026 results for candidates seeking admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes for the 2026–27 academic session.

Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their result details, including scores and rank status, through the official NBEMS portal.

The declaration of results marks the beginning of the next phase of the admission process, which will include scorecard downloads, merit preparation, and counselling for MDS seats across India.

NEET-MDS 2026 Examination Overview

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET-MDS) 2026was conducted on May 2, 2026 for admission into postgraduate dental programmes offered by institutions nationwide.

Alongside the result announcement, NBEMS has also published the official category-wise qualifying percentile and cut-off scores for this year’s examination.

NEET-MDS 2026 Category-Wise Cut-Off Scores

The qualifying requirements and cut-off marks (out of a total of 960 marks) are as follows:

NEET-MDS 2026 Scorecards to Be Available from June 10

NBEMS has announced that individual scorecards for NEET-MDS 2026 candidates will become available for download from June 10, 2026 onwards.

Candidates must note the following important points:

  • Scorecards will be accessible only through candidate login credentials.

  • Download facility will remain active for six months from the date of release.

  • Candidates should download and preserve multiple copies for future admission procedures.

  • Scorecards will not be issued separately via email.

  • Requests made after the designated availability period will not be accepted.

NBEMS clarified that scorecards are system-generated documents, and retrieval beyond the official download period will not be entertained.

NBEMS Grants Full Marks for Technically Incorrect Questions

Following completion of the examination, NBEMS conducted a detailed review of all questions with the assistance of subject experts.

According to the official decision:

  • Every question in the examination paper underwent post-exam evaluation.

  • If any question was found to be technically incorrect, candidates received full marks for that question.

  • The benefit was extended irrespective of whether a candidate attempted that question.

This measure was adopted to ensure fairness and maintain examination integrity.

Merit List Preparation and Counselling Process

NBEMS clarified that counselling and merit preparation will proceed separately after result declaration.

State Quota Merit Lists

Respective State Governments and Union Territories will prepare their own category-wise merit lists according to:

  • Reservation policies

  • Eligibility conditions

  • Applicable admission rules

Candidates should regularly monitor official counselling notifications released by competent authorities.

Candidature Remains Provisional

NBEMS has emphasized that declaration of result does not automatically guarantee admission.

Candidate eligibility remains provisionaland subject to verification of all conditions specified in the NEET-MDS 2026 Information Bulletin.

NBEMS has issued a strict warning regarding the use of unfair practices during the examination process.

If any candidate is found involved in:
