NEET MDS Counselling 2026 to Begin Soon: MCC Registration, Expected Dates, Seat Matrix, Fees & Document Checklist: NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Latest Updates: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to begin the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 process shortly for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes across India. The counselling will be conducted for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, while the remaining seats will be filled through respective state counselling authorities.


The counselling process will commence with the release of the seat matrix, information bulletin, and registration schedule on the official MCC website. Candidates who qualified in NEET MDS 2026 must complete online registration, choice filling, and other counselling formalities to participate in seat allotment.

NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Expected to Begin in August

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has not yet announced the official schedule for NEET MDS Counselling 2026. Based on the expected timeline, the counselling process is likely to commence during the first week of August 2026.

The detailed counselling notification, information bulletin, seat matrix, and registration link will be made available on the official MCC counselling portal.

MCC Will Conduct Counselling for 50% AIQ MDS Seats

The Medical Counselling Committee will conduct counselling for admission to:

  • Other participating institutions under MCC counselling

The remaining seats will be filled through the counselling authorities of individual states.

The NEET MDS 2026 counselling will be conducted in four rounds.

How to Apply for NEET MDS Counselling 2026

Candidates can complete the counselling registration by following these steps:

Step 3: Click on New Registration.

Step 4: Enter the required details such as:

  • NEET MDS Roll Number

  • Application Number

  • Date of Birth

Step 5: Complete the online application form.

Step 6: Pay the prescribed registration fee.

Candidates applying under the PwD category should note the following:

  • Disability certificates cannot be uploaded online during counselling.

  • The original disability certificate must be produced physically at the allotted institute during reporting.

  • The certificate will be verified by the authorised medical board representative.

  • Any discrepancy may require further medical evaluation before admission is confirmed.

The address for physical verification will be mentioned in the candidate's seat allotment letter.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute

Candidates allotted seats must physically report to their respective institutions with:

  • Original documents

  • Self-attested photocopies of all certificates

  • Seat Allotment Letter

  • Valid Photo ID

  • Passport-size photographs

Failure to report within the stipulated deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
