NEET UG 2026 Exam Day Live: Key Instructions on Timings, Dress Code, Allowed & Banned Items: The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted today, May 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This national-level medical entrance exam will take place in offline (pen-and-paper) mode for more than 22.79 lakh candidates across 551 cities in India and 14 international centres.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has already issued the NEET 2026 admit cards on the official website along with detailed exam day instructions, dress code guidelines for male and female candidates, and a list of permitted and prohibited items. Candidates are advised to carefully review all guidelines to avoid any issues on exam day.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2026 exam today. Candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test must strictly follow the official guidelines to ensure smooth entry into the examination hall.

Candidates appearing for the exam must follow a strict and simple dress code:

  • Wear light and simple clothing

  • Avoid heavy jewellery or accessories

  • Follow specific instructions for both male and female candidates

Female candidates are not allowed to wear heavy ornaments or elaborate clothing.

For candidates wearing religious attire, it is advised to report between 11:00 AM and 12:00 Noon to allow sufficient time for mandatory security checks.
