The National Medical Commission (NMC) has officially finalised the NEET UG 2026 syllabus. According to the latest update, no chapters have been removed or modified in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the NEET UG 2026 examination date shortly.

The Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) of the National Medical Commission has released a notification confirming the final NEET UG 2026 syllabus PDF. The notification highlights the officially approved syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates planning to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in the 2026 session are advised to review the complete NEET UG 2026 syllabus carefully to understand all the topics included for the examination.

The NEET UG 2026 examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). As of now, the official exam date has not been announced. However, following the release of the syllabus, it is expected that the NEET UG 2026 exam schedule will be declared in the near future.

NMC NEET UG 2026 Syllabus Remains Unchanged

There have been no changes in the NMC-prescribed syllabus for NEET UG 2026. Students are advised to continue preparing the same topics that were included in previous academic sessions. As per the finalised syllabus, the NEET UG 2026 curriculum includes a total of 20 units in Physics, 20 units in Chemistry, and 10 units in Biology.

“The stakeholders are advised to refer to the updated syllabus for NEET (UG)-2026 for the preparation of the study material and for preparation of NEET (UG) examinations for academic session 2026–27,” the official notification stated.

NEET UG 2026 Exam Date Expected Soon

The National Testing Agency will announce the NEET UG 2026 examination date shortly. Based on previous years’ trends, the examination is typically conducted on the first Sunday of May. Accordingly, NEET UG 2026 is expected to be held on May 3, 2026.
