NEET UG Counselling 2025: MCC Announces Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing Admissions: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially announced the Special Stray Vacancy Round for NEET UG Counselling 2025, providing eligible candidates with a final opportunity to secure admission to MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses for the academic year 2025โ€“26. This special round has been introduced to fill the remaining vacant seats after completion of earlier counselling rounds under the All India Quota (AIQ), Central Universities, Deemed Universities and participating State Quotas.

Candidates who are not holding any seat through previous MCC or State counselling rounds are eligible to participate. As per MCC guidelines, fresh registration and choice filling are mandatory, and all previously filled choices will be treated as null and void.

Seat Matrix Details

MCC has also released the seat matrix for the Special Stray Vacancy Round, highlighting the availability of vacant MBBS seats across multiple states. A total of 67 MBBS seats are available, with major vacancies reported in states such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Limited seats are also available in Assam, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Kerala and Madhya Pradesh.

Candidates are advised to carefully review the institute-wise and category-wise seat matrix before exercising their choices, as allotment will be strictly based on NEET UG rank, choice preference and seat availability.
