According to the latest notification, July 17, 2026, till 12:00 midnight, is the final deadline for candidates to withdraw their admission and remain eligible for a substantial fee refund.
Full Refund Available Till July 17
As per the counselling guidelines issued by NIFT, candidates who submit their withdrawal request through the official NIFT admission portal on or before July 17, 2026, will receive a refund of the fees paid after the deduction of the registration fee of Rs. 9,300.
However, students who decide to withdraw after the specified deadline will not be entitled to a full fee refund. In such cases, only the security deposit amount will be returned, subject to the applicable rules.
Withdrawal Requests Accepted Only Through Online Portal
NIFT has clarified that all requests for withdrawal must be submitted exclusively through the official NIFT admission portal. Requests sent via email, offline applications, postal communication, or any other mode will not be considered valid and will not be processed by the institute.
Candidates are therefore advised to complete the withdrawal procedure within the stipulated timeframe and ensure that the request is submitted through the designated online portal only.
