The NIFT application window with late fees is open from today, January 17, 2026, for all UG and PG programmes. Aspirants seeking admission to the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) must complete the NIFTEE 2026 application form within the specified timeline. Applications can no longer be submitted with the regular fee alone. Candidates are required to pay an additional late fee of INR 5,000 along with the prescribed application fee. The online application forms are available on the official NTA NIFT website, and the late fee window will close on January 19, 2026.
The regular application feefor NIFT 2026 is INR 2,000 for candidates belonging to General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/GEN-EWS categories, while candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories are required to pay INR 500.

NIFT Written Exam 2026: Stage 1
The NIFT written examination includes the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). The GAT paper is compulsory for all programmes. However, CAT is required only for B.Des and M.Des candidates.
