NTA Releases NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key at neet.nta.nic.in; Challenge Window to Open Soon: National Testing Agency has officially released the provisional answer key for the NEET UG 2026 examination on May 6, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the medical entrance examination conducted on May 3 can now download the official NEET answer key PDF from the official portal, www.neet.nta.nic.in

The provisional answer keys have been published for question paper codes 11, 12, 13, and 14. Along with the answer key, the National Testing Agency is also expected to upload scanned copies of candidates’ OMR response sheets shortly.

Candidates can use the provisional answer key to estimate their probable scores before the declaration of final results. The answer key challenge facility will also be activated soon, allowing students to raise objections against any answer they believe to be incorrect.

How to Download NEET 2026 Answer Key PDF

Candidates can follow these steps to access the official NEET answer key:

1.    Visit the official website at neet.nta.nic.in

2.    Click on the “NEET UG 2026 Provisional Answer Key” link

3.    The answer key PDF will open on the screen

4.    Download and save the PDF for future reference

2.    Log in using application credentials

3.    Click on the OMR Sheet link

4.    Download the PDF copy of the response sheet

How to Challenge NEET Provisional Answer Key 2026

Candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key can submit objections online through the official portal.

Steps to Raise Objections

1.    Visit the official NEET website

2.    Click on the “Challenge Answer Key” link

3.    Log in using application number and password

4.    Select the question or answer to challenge

5.    Upload supporting documents or references

6.    Verify the selected questions and answer options

7.    Pay the objection fee of ₹200 per challenged question

8.    Submit the challenge and save the confirmation page

The objections submitted by candidates will be reviewed by subject experts. If a challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly before preparation of the final result.

NEET UG 2026 Paper Difficulty Analysis

Based on student feedback and expert reviews, the overall difficulty level of the NEET UG 2026 examination was considered moderate. While Biology was relatively easier, Physics and Organic Chemistry sections were found to be more challenging.

Experts believe that due to the moderate difficulty level and challenging Physics section, the overall cutoff trends may vary this year. Students are now eagerly awaiting the release of the NEET OMR sheets and the opening of the official objection window.
