SLAT 2027 Registration Begins: Symbiosis Announces Exam Schedule; Applications Open Until December 4: The registration process for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2027 has officially commenced. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate law programmes offered by Symbiosis Law Schools can now submit their applications online. According to the official schedule, the registration window will remain open until December 4, 2026.

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2027 will be conducted in two phases on December 19 and December 26, 2026. Interested candidates are advised to complete the application and fee payment process well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

The examination serves as the gateway for admission to various undergraduate law programmes offered by Symbiosis Law Schools across the country.

SLAT 2027 to Be Conducted in Two Phases

As per the examination schedule released by Symbiosis Law School, the entrance test will be organized as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Candidates will have the opportunity to appear for up to two attempts, depending on the options selected during registration. One of the most significant advantages for applicants is that Symbiosis will consider the higher score obtained by candidates while preparing the final merit list.

This approach provides students with an additional opportunity to improve their performance and enhance their chances of securing admission to their preferred law programme.

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test is conducted for students seeking admission to undergraduate law programmes offered by Symbiosis Law Schools.

To be eligible for SLAT 2027, candidates must have:

  • Successfully completed Class 12 or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational board.

  • Obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination if they belong to the General category.

  • Secured at least 40% marks if they belong to the SC/ST category.

Candidates who are currently appearing for their qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply, provided they satisfy all eligibility requirements at the time of admission.

Higher Score from Two Attempts to Be Considered for Merit

An important feature of the SLAT 2027 admission process is that candidates can take the examination twice if they choose to do so.

Instead of averaging both scores, Symbiosis will consider the higher score while preparing the final merit list. This policy offers students an additional opportunity to improve their performance and strengthen their admission prospects.

Students planning to pursue a career in law should carefully review the examination schedule, complete the registration process within the stipulated deadline, and prepare thoroughly for the upcoming entrance examination.
