TNEA 2026 Registration Closes Today: Final Opportunity for Candidates; Document Upload and Counselling Schedule Ahead: Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 registration process reaches its final day today, June 5, with lakhs of engineering aspirants expected to complete formalities before the deadline. Candidates who wish to secure admission into engineering programmes across Tamil Nadu must ensure registration is completed within the stipulated time.

According to the latest available figures, nearly 2.8 lakh students have already registered for the TNEA 2026 counselling process, reflecting strong participation from students seeking admission to engineering institutions across the state.

Applicants can complete their registration through the official TNEA online admission portal. While the registration window closes today, candidates will receive an additional day exclusively for uploading their required documents.

TNEA 2026 Registration Ends Today

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 application process officially concludes on June 5, 2026. Candidates who have not yet submitted their applications must complete the process immediately to remain eligible for upcoming counselling rounds.

Following closure of the registration portal, applicants should continue monitoring the admission schedule and complete every subsequent stage within the prescribed dates.

The counselling process will eventually include:

  • Choice filling

  • Seat allotment

  • Confirmation of allotted seats

  • Reporting to Colleges/TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs)

  • Payment of admission fees

Certificate Verification to Begin at TFCs

After document submission, the next stage will involve certificate verification at TNEA Facilitation Centres (TFCs).

The verification process is scheduled to commence from June 8, 2026, and continue until June 20, 2026.

Students should carry original documents and follow instructions issued through the admission portal to complete verification successfully.

Rank List and Counselling Process

The TNEA rank listplays a critical role in determining admission eligibility and seat allotment.

Once released, candidates can participate in the counselling process according to their rank and reservation category.

The admission procedure will cover entry into the following programmes:

  • BE / BTech

  • BE (Sandwich)

  • Integrated MTech Computer Science and Engineering

Admissions will be offered across:

  • Government Engineering Colleges

  • Government-Aided Engineering Colleges

  • University Departments

  • Constituent Colleges of Anna University
