UP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 Counselling Temporarily Suspended; DGME UP Issues Official Notice: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has put the third round of UP NEET PG 2025 counselling on hold until further notice.

UP NEET PG 2025: As per an official notification released on January 6, 2026, DGME Uttar Pradesh has temporarily halted the third round of counselling for UP NEET PG 2025.

This decision is applicable to admissions for MD, MS, Diploma, and DNB programmes conducted under the state quota counselling process.

Reason for the Suspension

According to the official notice, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, has not yet commenced the All India Quota (AIQ) counselling for the third round of NEET PG 2025. To ensure synchronization with the national counselling timeline, the Uttar Pradesh authorities have decided to pause the state-level counselling process.

The third round of UP NEET PG 2025 counselling will remain suspended until further directives are issued by the competent authority.

Guidance for Candidates

Applicants intending to participate in the UP NEET PG 2025 Round 3 online counselling are advised to:

  • Await further instructions from DGME Uttar Pradesh

  • Frequently visit the official websites for the latest updates:

We also endeavour to keep candidates informed. Therefore, you may continue to check our official platforms regularly for timely updates.
At present, no new counselling dates or revised schedule have been announced.

Implications of the Decision

This temporary suspension may result in a delay in seat allotment and admissions for postgraduate medical aspirants in Uttar Pradesh. However, experts recommend that candidates remain calm, as such interruptions are procedural in nature and counselling usually resumes once the AIQ process moves forward. Aspirants planning to participate in Round 3 are advised not to panic and to stay composed.
