Candidates aspiring to pursue MBA and other management programmes at XLRI Jamshedpur and several other leading business schools that accept XAT scores can now complete their online application through the official portal.
The XAT 2027 examinationis scheduled to be conducted on January 3, 2027, in more than 100 cities across India. During the application process, candidates will have the opportunity to choose their preferred examination city from the available list of test centres.
Who Can Apply for XAT 2027?
Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the examination.
Students who are currently pursuing the final year of their Bachelor's degree are also eligible to submit the XAT 2027 application form, provided they meet the admission requirements at the time of admission.

How to Apply for XAT 2027?
The XAT 2027 application form is available only in online mode. Candidates can complete the registration process by following these steps:
1. Visit the official XAT registration portal.
2. Click on the 'Registration' option.
3. Enter your name, mobile number, email ID, password, and captcha code.
4. A unique XAT ID and verification link will be sent to your registered email address.
5. Click the verification link to activate your registration.
6. Open the XAT 2027 Application Form.
7. Fill in your academic qualifications, personal information, and work experience details (if applicable).
8. Upload the required documents, including:
o Recent passport-size colour photograph
o Scanned signature
o Valid photo identity proof
9. Select your preferred examination cities for centre allocation.
10. Carefully verify all the information entered.
11. Accept the declaration by ticking the required checkbox.
12. Pay the prescribed XAT application fee using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.
13. Complete the final submission after successful payment.
XAT 2027 Signature Upload Guidelines
Applicants should sign on a plain white sheet of paper using a black ink pen. The signature must then be scanned clearly before uploading.
Candidates should ensure that:
- The scanned signature is clearly visible.
- The image is legible.
- There are no smudges or distortions.
- The uploaded file meets the prescribed specifications.
Photograph Upload Instructions
Candidates are required to upload a recent colour passport-size photograph while filling out the application form.
The photograph should meet the following requirements:
- Light-coloured background, preferably white.
- Face should be completely visible.
- No shadows should appear on the face or background.
- The image must be clear and of good quality.
Complete the Form Before Fee Payment
Candidates must first complete all sections of the online application form and click on the 'Submit'button.
After submission, the system will automatically redirect applicants to the online payment gateway. The registration process will be considered complete only after successful payment of the application fee. Applications without fee payment will not be accepted.
Exam to be Held Across More Than 100 Cities
The XAT 2027 entrance examination will be conducted in over 100 examination cities across the country. Candidates are advised to carefully choose their preferred test city while filling out the application form, as examination centres will be allotted based on the choices submitted and availability.
