Admission Criteria

MBBS Admissions

Katuri Medical College and Hospital, Guntur, offers an MBBS program of 5.5 years duration to the aspirants. Admission to the program is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in NEET UG conducted by NTA. The college annually offers 150 seats for the MBBS program.

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed HSC or its equivalent examination in PCB with at least 50% marks (45% for ST/ SC/ OBC category) from a recognized Board of Examination are eligible to apply for MBBS admission. It is important for the applicants to be a minimum of 17 years of age as of December of the admission year.

PG Admission

Katuri Medical College and Hospital, Guntur offers MD/ MS program of 3 years duration with intake of 42 students. To get admission in PG courses offered by Katuri Medical College and Hospital, Guntur candidates will qualify for NEET PG conducted by NBE. On the basis of candidates' merit in NEET, PG, admission is given to them.

PG Eligibility Criteria 

Students who hold MBBS Degree with minimum 50% marks and have permanent registration with Medical Council of India/ DCI/ State Medical Council/ Dental Council are considered eligible for admission to MD/ MS.

The library space is 3,300 Sq.m. With two reading rooms the seating capacity of 200 each for Under Graduate students. Separate reading rooms are provided for Post Graduate Students and Faculty. The college library works from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Reading Room facilities provided round the clock.
