Sri Aditya Educational Society (ESTD-2000) started a Technical Institution to impart highest quality and standards in the north coastal A.P. under aegis of eminent academicians, educationists and professionals in the name of Aditya Institute of Technology and Management in 2001.
Aditya Institute of Technology and Management is located at K. Kotturu, Tekkali, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh. It is located in an extent of 50 acres of clean, green and serene area. The institute has the beauty of modern day Gurukul. It is situated on the banks of the river Vamsadhara at a short distance and having the sea at an hours journey. The institute is provided with an enjoyable coastal climate.

The college is marching ahead under the able guidance of Chairman Rtn (PHF) Dr. K. Someswara Rao who is a Pediatrician by profession and committed to social service with a special reference to technical education with unstinted support from the Secretary Sri. L.L. Naidu, Director Prof. V.V. Nageswara Rao and other members of the Sri Aditya Educational Society.

The college has a total built-up area of 25,349 Sq.m with 49 class rooms, 3 seminar halls of different sizes, and 74 laboratories. The current annual budget of the college is of the order of about Rs.1,757.69 lakhs. The College Library has about 53,065 volumes of books and has also a Digital Library with 200 journals as hard copies and 450 journals on-line. All the laboratories are provided with the state of art equipment namely computer labs, internet centre, language lab and digital library. The college has 125 KVA, 24 hours power supply from A.P. State Electricity Board. Besides this the college has three generators with a capacity of 325 KVA, 125 KVA and 62 KVA with 30 UPS of total capacity 143.5 KVA to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the smooth functioning of all routine academic activities. Hostel accommodation is available for about 370 boys and 188 girls in separate hostels. Sports facilities are available with play fields in all major games and sports spread over an area of about 5 acres.
The management provides whole-hearted support for the improvement of the college in all aspects. About 90 lakhs of rupees are allotted every year for augmenting / modernizing the equipment to pursue M. Tech, Ph. D. works by giving them study leaves and financial assistance. The faculty and students are closely associated with all administrative and academic policy decisions through membership on appropriate committees.

Aditya Institute of Technology and Management currently offers 8 U.G programs in the disciplines of ECE, CSE, CSE-AIML, CSE-DS, IT, EEE, CE and MECH, P.G program in MBA, and 5 disciplines of M. Tech.The total sanctioned intake per year is 1080 in B. Tech programmes, 60 in MBA and 60 in M. Tech.

Admission Procedure
B.Tech Programmes (Four Year Courses):
Admissions under Convenor's Quota (A- Category)---70% of intake in each branch:
A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate
examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics,
Physics and Chemistry as Major subjects, or any other examination recognized by the University as
equivalent thereto. All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the
EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly in
accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding
the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local
status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974
as amended from time to time.
Admissions under Management Quota (B- Category)----30% of intake in each branch:
B- Category seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by
APSCHE, Guntur.
B.Tech Programmes (Three Year Programmes for Diploma/B.Sc Holders)
Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering 10% seats as supernumerary seats are allotted to
Diploma and B.Sc holders for admission into II Year B.Tech directly. Admissions into II Year B.Tech
through lateral entry for Diploma and B.Sc Holders are conducted by The Convener, ECET. Admissions
through web counselling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET keeping in view the rules in
force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates
There are no B – Category (Management Quota) Seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech.
M.Tech Programmes
Admissions under Convenor's Quota (A- Category)----70% of intake in each specialization:
Admissions for A – Category Seats are conducted by the Convener, PGECET. Admissions through web
counselling based on the rank obtained by the candidates in GATE/PGECET keeping in view the rules in
force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. The admissions are also based

Admission to B – Category Seats are done by the college Management following the guidelines of
APSCHE, Guntur, The B – Category admissions done by the college are subject to ratification by APSCHE
on course wise eligibility rules of JNTU GV.

AITAM has an independent Department of Training and Placement Cell, committed to provide all possible assistance to its students and also to meet the needs of organizations.

Visionary Management has taken a right decision in right time to establish a separate Training and Placement Department in 2005. This may be the first college in its age-group in AP to take such a revolutionary decision. Today many colleges are following this plan. That is what it happens with the leaders. This shows the management commitment towards life and careers of its college students.
