About SVIMS Tirupati
In 1986, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences was established. SVIMS Tirupati was established as a university under the UGC Act of 1995. The Medical Council of India (MCI) has approved SVIMS Tirupati for running various D.M, M.Ch, and M.D programmes since 2003. Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences has been recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute is placed 38th in the medical category in the NIRF 2020 ranking. The campus area of SVIMS Tirupati is 107.04 acres. To serve the underprivileged and needy patients, SVIMS Tirupati has well-trained faculty. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programmes. SVIMS Tirupati Admission Process
The institute offers admissions to a total of 60 courses at diploma, UG, PG and doctoral levels. SVIMS Tirupati admissions to B.Sc, B.P.T and diploma programmes are offered based on the merit of the interview followed by a counselling process. Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences admission to M.D. programmes are based on NEET PG scores, whereas admissions to D.M. and M.Ch. programmes are offered on the basis of NEET SS scores. Candidates must apply for and participate in the All India level counselling, which is held to provide admission to various medical colleges across India based on NEET scores. Students can also apply for M.Sc. and Ph.D programmes at the institute based on their performance in a written test followed by an interview. Students must appear and qualify for the counselling session held to give admission to these programmes.

The placement rate for PG (1-year) courses has been the same in 2021 and 2022, i.e. 100%

Mukhymantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana or MYSY Scholarship is a scholarship scheme that is offered to the economically weaker section students of Gujarat. All those students who wish to pursue higher education like diploma courses, engineering, pharmacy course, medical course, etc apply for MYSY scholarship every year.
