Adithya Institute of Technology (Autonomous) AIT, is a Top Engineering College in Coimbatore District. It was established in the year 2008 by the Adithya Education Trust under its dynamic Chairman Er.C. Sukumaran, an Industrialist. His clear purpose in setting up the College was not just his dream but the mission to provide quality engineering education to today's youth who will build the nation tomorrow.

Adithya Institute of Technology is set up in a beautiful and Campus size of 25.52 Acres in lush Green and beautiful surroundings with a very impressive constructed area. The College is located at Sathy Main Road, Kurumbapalayam Village, SS Kulum Post. Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Coimbatore International Airport is 8 Kms away from the College and Coimbatore Railway Junction is 15 Kms away. Public Transport connectivity is good.

AIT is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University. The College has been conferred with Autonomous status by the UGC and Anna University and also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an A+ Grade. The College also has ISO 9001:2015 as well as ISO 14001:2015 Certification. Admission Procedure

Adithya Institute of Technology (AIT), located in Kurumbapalayam Village, Coimbatore, offers admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs through both government counseling and management quotas. For B.E./B.Tech programs, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Admissions are primarily conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling based on 12th-grade marks, with 65% of seats allocated through this process and the remaining 35% filled via the management quota.

Scholarship

1. 7.5% Reservation For Government School Students:

The State government will absorb the expenses for education in professional courses of students admitted under the 7.5% reservation for government school students. The fees for counselling, tuition and hostel, would be paid by the government itself. They have to submit the proof for Government School study details from 6th Standard to 12th standard.

2. First Graduate

The State government has ordered to grant tuition fee concession to the candidates who are to be the first graduate in a family, those who are attending counselling and joined in professional courses in Government / Aided and Self-Financing Engineering Colleges.

3. Post Matric Scholarship

The Government have ordered to grant Post Matric Scholarship to SC/SCA/ST candidates and SC/SCA converted Christians, whose parental annual income is less than Rs. 2,50,000/- from all the sources shall only be eligible. The eligible candidates have to submit income certificate obtained from appropriate authorities and get the Post Matric Scholarship from the colleges where they get admitted.

4. BC/MBC Scholarship

To the eligible students based on their parent income.

The Library has computerized all its operations using lips i Net Library software which is connected to the campus-wide network which enables users to search for Library resources and also to manage circulation related details.

Further, the subscription of rich variety of electronic database such as J-Gate Engineering and Technology, J-Gate Social Science and Humanities and K-Hub.in engineering e-library facilitates data collection, source identification and ensures easy accessibility to the latest information on Engineering, Technology and Management research. The Library endeavors to provide services which most effectively meet the needs of the AIT student, researchers & staff community.

Transport

AIT operates a fleet of 8 luxury buses covering various routes in and around Coimbatore. These buses are scheduled to align with the college's working hours, which are from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM on all working days. The buses depart from the college at 4:45 PM.

• Bus 2 (Sulur Route):
  

Departs from Vannankovil at 7:20 AM, passing through Periyanaikanpalayam, KSB Pumps, Narasimanaickanpalayam, Vadamadurai, Thudiyalur, Vishvanathapuram, G.N.Mills, Kavundampalayam, Urumandampalayam, Vellakinaru, Saravanampatti, and arrives at AIT by 8:50 AM.

• Bus 3 (Mettupalayam Route):
  

Starts at 7:15 AM from Mettupalayam, covering Bellathi, Karamadai, Veerapandi Pirivu, Veerapandi, Samanaickenpalayam, Vellamadai, Kottai, Kovilpalayam, and reaches AIT by 8:50 AM.
