The College

The Institution Bahubali College of Engineering(BCE) was established during 1997 by His Holiness Jagadguru Karmayogi Swasthisree Charukeerti Bhattaraka Swamiji,the Chairman of the S.S.D.J. Jnana Prasaraka Sangha which is running Educational Institutes from Primary education to Graduate level in various disciplines / fields of study. It has gained experience and endeavours to produce bright young men and women for the millennium with excellence in technical knowledge.

 The BCE-Shravanabelagola has been recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. The institute has been conferred a Jain Religious Minority Status. It is an unaided institution.

Bahubali College of Engineering UG Admission Process

Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2, as well as one of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies, with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved candidates).

OR a 45% diploma in Engineering and Technology (40% for reserved category candidates).

Placement

On campus, there is a full-fledged office for the Training and Placement department. The department features a private boardroom and five-panel rooms with all of the necessary equipment to conduct campus hiring programs. Malnad College of Engineering placement cell conducts an introductory talk about the opportunities, as well as career growth and planning, along with sessions on communication skills, and soft skills. According to the 2019-20 placement data available on the official website of Malnad College of Engineering a total of 197 students got placed. being sanctioned (Rs.25,000 to Rs. 60,000 per year).

2. There are more than 20 scholarships are available for Jain students from different

scholarship form.

ii) Filling the details in the Scholarship form and attesting specified certificates and

Bahubali College of Engineering - (BCE), Hassan has a large and well-maintained campus and offers a tranquil learning environment. The buildings are modern and equipped with the latest technology from Bahubali College of Engineering - (BCE), Hassan which facilitates teaching and teacher development. The classrooms, units, and laboratories of the Bahubali College of Engineering - (BCE), Hassan are spacious, comfortable, and designed to ensure the highest quality of education. The library is excellent too, with a vast range of books, online resources, and knowledgeable librarians.

Library

The College library has a collection of over 22,500 volumes of Books, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, and General books including Kannada novels. the library has subscribed to E-resources like IEEE-IEL online, Elsevier Science Direct, ASCE, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Proquest, and Knimbus Digital Library through VTU Consortium. BCE Library provides an NPTEL facility (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) to access video lectures. A digital library with 10 Systems to access E-Journals, E-books, CD/DVDs is available in the library. All in-house operations in the library are fully computerized by using NEWGENLIB open-source software and provide access to the online catalog

Laboratories

A language lab with 30+1 participants is available at the college. Faculty and students who are interested are welcome to visit the language lab and work on the many modules available.

I.T Infrastructure

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The College has a Browsing center with high-speed internet available.

Wifi

The Campus is having Round the Clock OFC internet connectivity. The institute has a 24X7 Wi-Fi internet facility on the college campus for students and faculty members to avail of internet connection in the college campus and hostel. All the Computer Laboratories are connected to the internet through Switches and each room in the hostel has an individual internet connection.

The hostel is elegantly built with ample spacious rooms, bathrooms, hot water, internet facility, south, and north Indian mess. The hostels are also located within the college campus. Girls Hostel

The College has separate Girls' hostels within the campus. The hostels can accommodate 150 girls. The hostel is elegantly built with ample spacious rooms, bathrooms, hot water, internet facility, south, and north Indian mess. The hostels are also located within the college campus.
