Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, one of the leading Engineering Colleges in Navi Mumbai, was established in 1990 under the eminent leadership of honourable Dr. Patangrao Kadam and is permanently affiliated to Mumbai University and approved by AICTE .

Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is renowned for  quality education leading  new folds of technical fields. With a progressive mission of “Social Transformation through Dynamic Education”, the institute is consistently striving for the holistic development of the students. We aim at imparting quality education to meet the needs of industry, profession and society; and to achieve excellence in teaching, learning and research. The major focus is to improve the academic performance of the students while emphasizing the building of a strong ethical character through co curricular and extra curricular activities. The college has devoted itself to train and develop budding technocrat. More than 2000 students and about 140 staff stepping ahead together to meet academic and professional excellence. Excellency of education is windowed by six branches i.e. Computer , Chemical  , Extc , IT, Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering including Applied Science with well equipped laboratories in this WI-FI campus.

In a span of twenty five years the College has gained appreciation because of excellent infrastructure, well equipped laboratory facilities, enriched library, qualified faculty and hence the outstanding results of students.

During the last 56 years Bharati Vidyapeeth has made astonishing strides in the field of education, particularly, higher and professional education. Today Bharati Vidyapeeth conducts more than 156 educational units of various kinds’ right from pre-primary schools to postgraduate institutions and a full fledged professional university (BVDU).

Today, Bharati Vidyapeeth has its major campuses in New Delhi, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad, Satara, and Panchgani and at quite a few other places. Bharati Vidyapeeth is probably the only organization from Maharashtra having its campus in the capital city of India. It is not in the urban areas alone that Bharati Vidyapeeth has started its institutions. Its schools and colleges have dotted rural areas and even the remotest tribal and coastal areas of Maharashtra.

Bharati Vidyapeeth runs more than 78 schools and 60 institutions of higher education, including those of professional education. Among these are colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Ayurved, Homeopathy, Nursing, Pharmacy, Law, Biotechnology, Engineering, Management, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Environment Science, Agriculture, Physical education and more. With a view to promote research activities and to create a research culture on its campuses, Bharati Vidyapeeth has established five specialized research institutes in the areas of Health Related Sciences, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Applied Chemistry and Social Sciences.

Dr. Patangrao Kadam subsequently expanded the scope of his activities and started many other institutions as its sister concerns. They include cooperative units of various kinds, several trusts, quite a few service institutions and even an orphanage.

The corporate office of Bharati Vidyapeeth is located in the prestigious area of Deccan Gymkhana in the city of Pune. Its 10 storied building, once the tallest in Pune, is a landmark of the city. Dr. Kadam has always put premium on the quality of education imparted to the students through the institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth. He has always emphasized that the students of Bharati Vidyapeeth should get updated and excellent education in a very hospitable and conducive atmosphere. So Bharati Vidyapeeth is very selective about the appointment of its academic staff. It provides enriched infrastructural facilities, well-equipped libraries and laboratories, well-developed and sprawling playgrounds and other amenities in its institutions. There is hardly any school or college of Bharati Vidyapeeth, which does not have its own building.

BVUCOE Admission Process

Placement :

T&P cell spares efforts in developing students overall personalities by providing soft skills, aptitude test training & relevant practices. The cell equip them with all qualities by arranging expert talk on technical and personality skills, etc. to make them an asset to whichever organization they may join. Campus recruitment drives in core & non-core sectors are organized regularly. The cell is in regular contact with potential recruiters Updated database and job profile of the companies are made available to students and thus helps them to analyze and choose company of his/her interest. It helps students/staff to arrange focused industrial visits/seminars. It helps them to get internships & live projects. It organizes sessions on higher studies to help students to choose their proper career path after their graduation. Every year approximately 20% of students go for higher education at various Indian and International Universities. It collects feedback from the visiting companies & share it with different departments for the development of students with respect to technical, academic, aptitude & attitude skills. It also encourages students to participate in maximum numbers for different contests/competitions organize by various companies through their online platforms.

• Boys Hostel

  The campus has hostel facilities for outstation candidates. There are separate hostel complexes for both boys and girls students that houses about 450 students at a time. The boy’s hostel has a capacity of 281 and girls hostel capacity is 200. The hostel provides hygienic and  delicious food in the mess premises. The hostels are also equipped with high-speed internet and a common room for recreation of students.

• Girls Hostel

  Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune girls hostel facilities include basic furniture, modern appliances, continuous supply of water, electricity, free wi-fi, etc. The safety and security of the hostels is taken care of by the hostel wardens.

• Medical/Hospital

  Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune medical facilities include free first-aid treatment for the students, institute staff and faculty members. Trained medical officers administer the medical services.

• Gym

  The institute encourages its students to stay healthy and fit at the campus. The institute has provided for a well-equipped gymnasium. It has a state of the art work out equipment for all students to use. The students have to pay a nominal fee for availing these facilities. Special classes for Yoga are also conducted periodically at the premises.

• Library

  The institute has a Central Library with valuable books in every stream of various courses available at the library. The ever increasing stock of books contain some of the most well known books, resources and research papers available for reading. The institute has a standing subscription of multiple journals, periodicals and magazines in the field of engg. and tech. The library also houses a reading hall that remains open for 16 hours a day for students to study in a peaceful environment. The 5 storeyed building has a subscription issued to students for borrowing books and other material.

• Sports

  Students have the facility of sporting equipment and a dedicated sports ground for various outdoor games and sports at the campus premises. The Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University College of Engineering Pune students have won many laurels for the college in sports, at the university, state and national levels.

• I.T Infrastructure

  The institute has a well-maintained IT infrastructure. The IT infrastructure of Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune controls and manages the networking of the entire campus.

• Cafeteria

  Multi cuisine food is available in the institute cafeteria at reasonable prices. The food is hygienically-prepared and is rich in nutrition content.

• Laboratories

  Departmental laboratories are provided by the institute to help the students in practicals. Institute of Environment Education and Research, Pune laboratory facilities include modern equipment and apparatus and a lab assistant to guide the students.

• Banks/ATMs

  For the convenience of students, a bank is present inside college premises. The University has its own “Bharati Sahakari Bank".

• Classrooms

  The institute contains classrooms equipped with audiovisual capabilities for imparting advanced learning through multimedia aids. The classrooms also have internet connectivity for student’s e-learning.

• Wifi

  Students have the facility of high-speed internet in the campus premises. Students can also access the internet at various campus premises including the hostel complexes, Classrooms and library.

  The institute has a huge auditorium and is used for organising events and seminars.
