College of Engineering Kottarakkara has been the leading technical institution in Kerala since it’s venture in 2004. CE Kottarakkara offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning), B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering, reflecting the modern technological advancements through its updated syllabus. The College is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE). It is under the management of IHRD(Institute of Human Resources Development ) – Established by Govt. of Kerala.

Courses

Admission Process

A leading institution of Kerala, the College of Engineering Kottarakkara came into existence in the year 2004 in Kollam. The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi.

The college offers two B.Tech courses in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.

The application process conducted by the college is offline only.
Admission in B.Tech requires the candidates to have passed 10+2 in PCM with minimum 45% marks from any recognized board.
The selection of the candidates in B.Tech is based on the score of KEAM.

College of Engineering Kottarakkara B.Tech Admission 2023

College of Engineering Kottarakkara offers B.Tech courses in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake of 60 students each. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects to be eligible for admission.

The selection of the candidates in B.Tech is based on the rank achieved in KEAM, followed by personal interview.

As the college conducts an offline mode of application processing, the candidates must register themselves for KEAM on the respective official website. To apply for admission in the college, the candidates have to follow the below mentioned procedure:

Obtain the prospectus and application form from the admission office of the college for INR 500.
Fill the application form correctly.
Affix the photographs on the designated places in the form.
Attach the documents mentioned below –
1. 10th and 12th mark sheet and passing certificate
2. Nativity Certificate
3. KEAM Admit Card, Date sheet and Score Card
4. TC and Character Certificate
5. Migration Certificate
6. Caste Certificate, if applicable
7. Income certificate for SEBC Candidates
8. Medical Certificate in the format as per Annexure mentioned in Prospectus.

We at the Placement Office are the official arbitrators for campus placement in UKFCET, Our enthusiastic team strives for effectively striking a match between recruiter expectation and student aspirations. The placement Cell is headed by the Manager - Corporate Relations & Placements and is assisted by the Placement Officer, Faculty In-charges and Student Representatives.

Activities at Placement Office
The main objective of the Placement Office is to properly channelize the communication with the industry thus providing assistance to both the institute and the industry in the process of recruitments as well as training opportunities for the students. We also conduct various industrial vistits giving our students exposure to practical industrial problems.

Summer Internship Programe
The companies can make use of this introductory session to present their credentials and introduce the company to the students. It is an opportunity for students to interact with senior executives and know more about the company, work profile and growth prospects.

We aim to give our students the fine-tuning that they require not just for placements but also as they embark on their corporate careers. With this goal in mind, we carry out several employability enhancement activities that include:
