Admissions in the college are accepted on the basis of entrance examinations conducted by Andhra University and various National level and State Level examinations. For undergraduate courses, AUCET and AUEET are conducted and the scores are taken into consideration.

Placements: Almost 65% of students got placed in this course. The average salary offered ranges between Rs 20,000 per month to Rs 40,000 per month. All private and government schools visited our college for recruitment. Many students got internships in this course. Top role offered was teacher. Merit Social Welfare/ Tribal Welfare Scholarships:
The eligible students have been provided merit social welfare/tribal welfare scholarships from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. The PG GATE qualified students are given UGC/AICTE fellowships.

BTH Merit Scholarships:
The students are eligible to apply for BTH Scholarship (Tuition fee waivers) programme for further reduction on existing tuition fee for the fee movers for the BTH i.e. The selection for BTH scholarship will be done as per the merit of academic excellence among all the international students. BTH Scholarships are subject to availability. The level of scholarship (reduction) will decided by BTH Scholarship committee.

Facilities & Services
1) Several scientific instruments are placed in various departments of the college. The University Science Instrumentation Centre undertakes maintenance of the instruments. Facilities for handling radioactive materials and isotopes are available at Centre for Nuclear Techniques.

2) OSTC - Moriculture Laboratories - with continuous supply of sea water for maintaining Marine animals in the Laboratories.

3) Scanning Electronic Micro Scope (SEM) in the Department of Geology.

4) Mircopulse Lidar - Atmospheric Aerosol Vertical Profiling with 30 meters resolution up to 60 kilometers altitude-one of the three facilities in the country 3 rd in the country.

5) Established at Nagaram Palem-1990-Digital Ionosonde to monitor continuously the ionosphere- One of the 6 facilities available in the country.
