Overview:

Doctor of Medicine in Pharmacology, also known as MD Pharmacology, is a three-year medical course that deals with the action of drugs on biological systems and their response to the body. The course is a combination of experimental and clinical sciences. While experimental pharmacology course deals with drug action in diseases, clinical pharmacology is necessary for prescribing practice in medicine, pharmacovigilance and clinical trial.

Students who have studied MBBS are eligible to study MD Pharmacology courses. They must have obtained at least 55% to be eligible to apply for the course in a reputed medical college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
