The lateral B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is a 6 semester course offered as a School Of Engineering. The course has been designed in order to shape professionals with a broad intellectual foundation, relevant electrical engineering fundamentals, and specially the contemporary technologies with a focus on industry-oriented topics.
To be eligible for the program, the candidate must have successfully passed a polytechnic diploma in a relevant subject/ discipline/ field/ program. Additionally, the candidate should have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in a relevant field and from a recognised industry/ company/ firm/ educational organisation/ government or autonomous organisations.
The B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Lateral Entry) course offered in flexible time shifts adheres to the norms specified by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) in the Approval Process Handbook, which is released periodically.
Live and interactive classes are conducted during weekdays (in the evening time), on weekends, and holidays in the flexible time shifts. After the completion of classes, recorded lectures are accessible through the Learning Management System (LMS) for unlimited viewing. Labs are conducted every Saturday at the campus, and alternatively, virtual simulations are conducted and can be accessed through virtual and remote modes with the help of simulations.
