The Diplomate of National Board (DNB) is a 3-year full-time postgraduate medical qualification in India that provides advanced training in a variety of medical and surgical specialties. The course is divided into semesters and includes rotating training.

The Diplomate of National Board (DNB) is awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, on completion of three-year training in any of 30 broad specialties. The DNB is considered equivalent to an MD or MS degree.

This program has been developed with an aim to produce all-round knowledge of associates in Nursing with comprehensive information regarding the precise medical field that students require to review.  The scholars are instructed and supplied with adequate skills in conductivity of Educational Reviews, Meetings, and Seminars while managing records further as performing their duties of treatment in cases of emergencies.

To be eligible to pursue this course, candidates must have passed the MBBS or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and qualify in the DNB-CET entrance test.

DNB graduates can pursue a variety of career paths, including Forensic Expert, Investigative Officer, Crime Reporter, and Crime Scene Investigator. The average salary after DNB graduation can be up to INR 35 LPA.

Admission Procedure For D.N.B Diplomate of National Board :

The admission procedure for D.N.B program typically involves the following steps:

  • Register and create an account by entering basic details like email-id, phone number etc.
  • Fill the application form with all necessary details. Care must be taken to ensure all details are accurate and correct.
  • Scan and upload all requisite documents like mark sheets, photograph and signature. Documents need to be uploaded in a specific format only, as specified by the institute’s application portal.
  • Candidates have to pay the application fees either online or offline.
  • Admit cards are released once all applicants are judged for eligibility. The admit card must be downloaded and printed out to be used on the day of the examination.
  • Prepare for the exam as per the syllabus and past papers. Appear for the examination on the date announced.
  • Results are announced after a couple of weeks of the exam day. If a candidate is successful in qualifying the entrance examinations, they can move on to the next round.
