Dayananda Sagar University created by an Act of the Karnataka State in 2014, built on this adorable legacy and inspired by its own milestones, meeting the needs of quality higher education in this part of the world.

Our exceptional M.Tech programme offers specialised majors, allowing students to delve deep into their areas of interest and expertise, whether it's in computer science, electronics, or other engineering disciplines. Biosciences are a frontline area of science with immense potential for the benefit of the human kind. The Department shall devote wholly to achieve excellence in the promotion of bioscience education in the country. The Department shall inculcate knowledge in the areas of teaching, research, generation of human resource, popularization of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Genetics, linkage of industries, creation of centers of excellence, implementation of bio based technology- programs for societal benefits.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
The School tries to achieve the overall goals and objectives and also focuses on the following special departmental objectives

To impart basic knowledge and skills of various aspects of biosciences
To train the students for challenging careers in the biosciences and lay a strong foundation for higher study and research in this subject for industrial need and also to pursue further education.
To inculcate entrepreneurship among the students so as to start their own ventures in the field of biosciences.
To provide its students with an education that establishes a strong foundation and appreciation for understanding rapid development in the advancing field of biosciences.
To provide an intensive and in-depth learning and to develop technical and critical thinking skills necessary for success in the field of biosciences.

Dayananda Sagar University Bangalore invites applications for the Dayananda Sagar Admission Test for admission to the university's UG and PG courses. Dayananda Sagar University offers admission to candidates based on merit or an entrance examination.

Leveraging the DSI legacy of five decades, Dayananda Sagar University has a well-established and centralized placement and training division - Centre of Innovation and Leadership (CIL).

Today, Dayananda Sagar Institutions and Dayananda Sagar University have become one of the preferred academic institutions for a large number of organizations to source the best talents under different verticals and horizontals of the business world.

The guidance to every student of the university to sort their career paths starts right from the first semester and walks through them till they reach their career goals. The training programs are custom made to every batch of engineering, commerce, and management, applied science, health science and arts courses. All the training program starts only after the thorough analyzing of student’s capabilities, personality, IQ & EQ of the students.

The placement cell also offers internship programs for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Of late, Dayananda Sagar University has started with in-house summer internship program for engineering students in areas of IOT & Robotics, 3D printing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and much more.

SCHOLARSHIP
Besides extending reduced fee structure for the Government quota, the university also extends Scholarships based on Merit and Economic considerations, the Students may apply for such concessions separately after admission.
