EASA College of Engineering & Technology, Coimbatore, bestowed with Autonomous Status by UGC in the year 2024, is an esteemed and prestigious Sourastrian minority institution which was established in the year 2008 by EASA Foundations, Coimbatore, a public Charitable and Educational Trust.  The object of the Foundations is to impart high-quality instruction and training and foster research in the fields of Science, Engineering, Technology and Management by establishing educational institutions with a futuristic and global outlook.

Eswaramoorthy the Chairman and Managing Trustee, who has immense experience as an Educational Consultant envisaged an Institute of  high quality education using state-of-the-art infrastructure and thereby bring out Engineers of eminence.  ECET was started with a mission to impart high-quality competency-based education in Engineering and Technology to the younger generation, particularly to provide quality technical education to both urban and rural students from Tamil Nadu as well as other states.
