The Goutham Educational Academy was found in the year 1986 under the aegis of the Goutham Institute of Medical Science & Technology and has been duly registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act. The Goutham Educational Academy has since its inception built a formidable name in the field of Medical and Para Medical Education. The Board of Management of the Society consist of a group of selfless, dedicated and hardworking educationists whose endeavor in providing and establishing good professional education to the students has been a relentless effort on their part. The Management is headed by no less a person like Dr. A.T.S. GIRI, Whose missionary zeal in the guiding spirit behind the policies and stature of the college. The Institute has got adequate buildings and other infrastructure facilities located in the heart of the Garden City.

Criteria for Admission

Admission is open to candidates from all parts of the world provided they meet the basic requirements.
The prospectus can be obtained from the office of the Goutham Institute of Medical Sciences and Technology, Bangalore on prescribed payment in Cash / M.O /D.D. with request for an application from and self addressed in Rs. 10/- stamped envelope size “9”x”4″.
Mode of Selection
Each application will be scrutinized by the selection committee and the student’s performance will be evaluated in the qualifying examination. Provisionally selected candidates will be called for the interview.

The date and time of interview will be intimated to the candidates by post. At the time of interview the candidates are required to appear for an entrance test based on general knowledge and professional aptitude. The selection committee’s decision is final and binding on the candidate. No further correspondence will be entertained regarding the selection criteria. Preference will be given to candidates who have a higher qualification than that prescribed.
