Impact College of Engineering & Applied Sciences, established in the year 2004, is a leading College of Engineering where students become engineers and make a world of difference.  It is a unit of Impact Group of Institutions (IGI) which was founded on the principles of Manpower Planning and Career Training.  Impact’s track record in Engineering Education spans nearly forty years, beginning with the Impact Polytechnic, which was established in 1983.  Today, it offers 8 disciplines in Engineering at the bachelor’s level and 9 disciplines in the diploma level and is engaged in creating human capital that addresses needs of the engineering fraternity for India and the world. The group has over five prestigious colleges, institutes and schools under its aegis - each unfailingly contributing to create a league of professionals. ICEAS is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi and is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka.  The programs offered by the college are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

 
Impact College of Engineering & Applied Sciences offers range of both Graduate (B.E.) and Post-graduate (M. Tech) programs in Engineering.  It offers B.E in 8 Disciplines, M.Tech in 2 specializations as well as MBA.  It also offers Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering.  For admissions to the courses the student appears for the Common  Entrance exam (KCET / COMEDK / Karnataka PGCET/ KMAT) and is ranked according to the performance in the test.

Our Mission

The Institute for Manpower Planning And Career Training (IMPACT) was established to advance scholarship and practice in engineering and the sciences through a professional approach to education. It is charged with the mission of developing human capital in engineering streams with an interdisciplinary orientation. It offers a confluence of relevant knowledge areas bearing upon a problem of interest and strives to create generalist engineers, who are not only professionals fired by the passion to excel in their fields, but are also contributing members of society who deeply engage the world in the wider social context.

Our Vision

The IMPACT is guided by the vision of shaping students as conscientious and capable engineers who can build a strong peaceful and dynamic world, while being at the forefront of technological initiatives with a basic concern for human and ecological welfare.

Eligibility for BE course at ICEAS is to obtain 50% marks in the 10+2 examination from a recognized examination board.
The BE course is offered to pressing needs of human society in Industrial, Automobiles and Engineering.
BE specializations at ICEAS includes CE, CS, ME, EEE, and ECE, with an annual intake of 30 students per course.
The applicants taking admission for BE at ICEAS will be based on merit and KMAT or COMEDK entrance exam scores.
The students applying for the entrance exam will also have to appear in the online counselling session KCET or COMEDK.
The counselling code at ICEAS will be 138 to join the Institute for BE courses.

The direct seats for BE course at ICEAS will be provided after the Admissions Officer advice on the selected course.
After the advice session, the college will verify the eligibility of any courses attended by the students.
The applicants will have to fill the application form of ICEAS and proceed to make payment of application fees at the campus.
After the selected students are informed via SMS or mail, candidates will have to complete the further admission process.

Applicants who have cleared KMAT / COMEDK entrance exam with qualifying marks shall apply to BE course at ICEAS.
The KMAT entrance will be offered to students of Karnataka State, and COMEDK is offered to students applying from other states.
Students must appear counselling sessions after the entrance exam, and seats will be provided based on overall performance.
