Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolar Karnataka was established in the year 2001 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Management and Science. Indian Institute of Fashion Technology is accredited by NAAC, and is affiliated with BU, Bangalore. Management of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolar is working under Viji. R. (Principal).

IIFT has commenced the admission process for this academic year in various design programmes at Undergraduate Degree, Masters and various Diploma courses. Eligible aspiring students can now apply in both online and offline mode for admissions in any of these courses.

Admissions are done based on the fullfilment of eligibility criteria and on a first come first serve basis subject to availability of seats.
