About IIM Nagpur

Indian Institute of Management Nagpur started its journey in the year 2015 under the mentorship of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. The Institute’s first batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management commenced on the 23rd of July 2015.

IIM Nagpur shifted to its new 132-acre campus, situated at MIHAN, Nagpur, Maharashtra, in November 2021.

IIM Nagpur, being a new generation IIM, aims to create value-driven leaders, global managers, and entrepreneurs with strong conceptual foundations and analytical approach to help them be the best in whichever field they choose. IIM Nagpur Admission Process
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Nagpur offers admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes. During the IIM Nagpur admission process, students will be shortlisted based on the Common Admission Test (CAT). Once the minimum cut-off list is announced, the eligible candidates are further shortlisted on the basis of their Past Academic Performance (PAP), along with Work Experience (WE), Diversity (DI), and performance in Personal Interview (PI). IIM Nagpur MBA Admission Process
First, candidates have to register and appear for CAT.
Then, candidates who have appeared for CAT will be first screened for eligibility as per the CAT cutoffs decided by the institute.
Candidates who meet the IIM Nagpur CAT cut-off and have filled the application form within a stipulated date will move to stage 2, where the Comprehensive Score (CS) is calculated for all such candidates.
A CS-based shortlist will be generated to call candidates for stage 3 - Personal Interview (PI). Candidates who are shortlisted for PI are required to reconfirm their interest in appearing for the PI process of IIM Nagpur.
Candidates who appear for the PI will be considered for this stage, where the Final Score (FS) is calculated. Admission offers will be sent to the candidates based on their FS.
Further, the selected candidates will receive provisional admission offers by email.
To confirm the admission, candidates are required to get their documents verified and pay the IIM Nagpur admission fee.

IIM Nagpur MBA Executive Admission Process
Candidates have to fill a detailed application form within a stipulated date on the official website of IIM Nagpur.
Next, candidates who complete the application form will appear for the screening examination IIMNAT.
Candidates who are shortlisted will have to attend the PI. Only candidates who appeared for the PI will be considered for the preparation of the final merit list.
Admission offers will be sent to the successful candidates based on their Final Score. The Final Score will be computed based on the Screening Examination performance, past academic performance, and personal interview.
Final admission is confirmed after verification of documents and IIM Nagpur admission fee payment.

IIM Nagpur PhD Management Admission Process
Candidates are invited to fill a detailed application form within a stipulated date.
Then, candidates who apply for the Ph.D admissions process at IIM Nagpur will be first screened for the requirements and eligibility.
Only those candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be considered for preparing the shortlist for PIs. The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email.
Candidates who accept the email invitation for PI will be called for interviews. All the candidates called for PI will have to attend area-led PI followed by programme-led PI.
Later, candidates who appear for the PI will be considered for this stage. Admission offers will be sent to the successful candidates.

Interested companies are requested to share details regarding roles offered at least a week before the placement season's commencement.
Interested students then apply for positions and companies they are interested in.
Applications are shared with respective companies for shortlisting.
Pre-Placement Tasks (PPTs) are organised by companies prior to the selection process. This allows the company and students to interact and exchange information.
Recruiters then conduct the selection process for shortlisted candidates, which usually includes Case Studies, Group Discussions, and Interviews.
Recruiters then issue an offer letter through the IIM Nagpur placement cell for students who have cleared the selection process.

Hostel

The IIM Nagpur hostel is considered a feature in building the community and family of students.
