J.K.K. Nattraja College of Engineering and Technology, Namakkal a unit of JKKN Educational Institutions was established in the year 2008 under the aegis of the J.K.K.Rangammal Charitable Trust.   The Trust, was established (Reg No: 33) in 1969 by Shri.J.K.K.Natarajah (Founder) with the motto of providing literacy and women’s empowerment, resulting in an upgraded socio-economic status for the people.

 
JKKNCET is an un-aided private college which has made exceptional progress and has achieved the status of one of the most prestigious engineering colleges.  “Leadership and Excellence” is the motto of the College, a fact that is evident from the state-of-the-art infrastructure and the quality of each individual. The college is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai and accredited by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

 
J.K.K. Nattraja College of Engineering and Technology offers various UG and PG courses across Engineering, Management streams.  It offers BE (in 4 disciplines) and 1 B.Tech program.  Among PG courses it offers ME and MBA degree programs.  The admissions to these courses are on the basis of TNEA, GATE/TANCET exam scores.
