JnanaVikas Institute of Technology (JVIT) is one among the foremost institutions in technological education. This esteemed Institute was established in the year 2001 by the Jnanavikas Vidya Sangha founded in the year 1983 under the leadership of Founder Chairman Sri C M Lingappa who built JVIT and other Jnanavikaas Group of Institutions at Bidadi. Donor Padmashree G.D Goyalji and his family members contributed for the establishment of JVIT.

With an astounding 23 Years of Excellence, this prestigious Institution is Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technologies University (VTU), Belgavi and Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.  JVIT is certified with ISO 9001 by the prestigious TÜV SÜD, South Asia (p) Ltd.  It has also obtained anNBA Recognition.

 
JVIT offers Engineering Courses in different branches with the latest syllabus and skill-based training which helps students consolidate theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience.  The institute offers Undergraduate program - BE in 5 different disciplines.  It also offers the Post graduate course - MBA Degree program. Admission Process

Students who wish to seek admission to the various undergraduate programmes in engineering at Jnanavikas Institute of Technology (JVIT) may do so via one of the following processes:

• Common Entrance Test (CET) and Selection Process
• COMEDK and Selection Process
• Management Admission Process

Admission Procedure

• Candidates must fill in the registration form. This is to be done at the JVIT College Campus.
• Visit the Admissions Section and meet the Admissions Coordinator.
• Admission fee details will be shared with the prospective candidate.
• Once the seat has been confirmed, candidates may fill out the application.
• form and submit it along with the documents specified below.

Required Documents

The college requires that candidates submit the following documents at the time of admission. Note: A different set of documents is required for International students and Non-Resident Indians. (Please bring original documents along with 3 photocopies of the same.

Placement

• To provide placement to each of its students in a reputed organization with respectable package in the areas of their interest is the ultimate goal of our institute.
• To achieve this aim training and placement department has been established, It achieves the above goal by twin approaches by conducting training program from First year to Final year.
  • To conduct on campus/off campus/pool campus drives so that the students get opportunities to get placed.
  • Further we strive to inculcate correct attitude, impart knowledge and develop necessary skills demanded by the industries so that the student excels in the profession.
• To achieve the above goals JVIT has unique programs as follows We conduct Bridge course in ENGLISH for the first year students one month before the regular classes starts. And these are continued in First year to make students confident of communicating in English.
• In First year to improve the effectiveness of English language we conduct ECIP –English Communication Improvement Program where each student gets an opportunity to address the group in English and gain confidence.
• In Second year we conduct soft skills, personality development classes in HR and Technicals Sessions.
• In Third year as a part of Industry Institution Interaction Technical training from concerned experts from various prestigious Industries, Industrial Visits to improve the technical knowledge of students required for today’s demand by the industries.
• In Final year we conduct Pre-placement Training which consists of group discussion, mock interviews, interview etiquette’s, public speaking and resume writing etc., so that the students will be confident enough to face the interview effectively, Also we conduct workshops and seminars from various experts related training and placements.
• Conduction of JOB FAIRS to give wide opportunity for the student community to choose best company to see their better future.

The prime theme behind giving scholarship schemes for students is that no one must have or leave their educational goals limited, just because of lack of a proper household income. Apart from these, scholarships are also useful for;

Paying your Tuition Fees comfortably. Aid the students from the financially weaker sections of society. Improving the general academic performance, in the case of Merit Scholarships.

Therefore, giving a sense of financial security is one of the classic deeds that a college can provide, for a mere student to become a successful lawyer, doctor, or engineer

Eligibility of Scholarship: Every institute has different norms when it comes to offering scholarships. A few colleges state the student should work for certain hours in the name of community service. And some other universities claim that the student must be highly meritorious as of the last written semester exams.

In some institutes, sports representation is an important criterion. But a majority of the colleges in India, provide scholarship perks for students who come from the weaker sections of the society or background. Based on the assessment of these criteria, the amount to be given for the scheme is fixed.
