Maharani Arts & Science College was established by the Maharani Educational & Charitable Trust, Dharapuram in the new millennium year 2000, Affiliated to Bharathiar University,? Coimbatore & recognized by the Tamilnadu Government and the Main destiny of the institution is to unite the students as one without religion, caste and creed.

Our college aspires to progress education to the rural women students in promoting lofty prospects towards knowledge. The name and fame of our institution depends on the caliber and achievements of the students and the teachers. The placement cell of our Institution was established to enable Employability skills and Training to the students of final year courses. The motto of this cell is to inculcate knowledge in exploring potential career paths that paves way to extended academic performances, the cell produces individual attention in providing training in fields like Resume Preparation, Personality development, Soft skills, Aptitude and Reasoning Practices.

The placement cell invites special personnels from corporate companies to enrich the cognition of students with latest technical innovations. It equips them to acquire practical knowledge from theory by allowing them to undergo Internship programmes. Job Fairs are periodically conducted with selective organisations. The cell ensures the gradual development of alumnae in career enhancement.

Our college has well equipped air conditioned computer Lab with Internet facility. As we offer computer based courses, new computer block has been constructed and we have upgraded the computer lab with internet connection and E-mail facilities.

Systems are upgraded with higher configuration with latest software’s like Oracle 9i, Visual Studio Dot net, C, C++, Java, COBOL, Tally 9, Corel draw, Photoshop, Flash, SQL server , Software Testing tools.

CDF Lab

B.Sc CDF course is a job oriented course especially for the women students. CDF block has been constructed with all facilities and modern instruments. Auditorium and language lab are under construction.

Placement Training and Carrier Guidance Cell

Our college has established a highly dynamic placement and Training cell which has actively taken up the task of placing the students in leading international and national organizations. The students participated in & off campus interviews organized by Bharathiar University and got selected in TCS, WRP Solution and 365 Media and Wipro Technologies.
