The Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Engineering (MSAJCE) is a prestigious Technical Institute located in Chennai.  Established in the year 2001, under the aegis of Mohamed Sathak Trust, the college is named after its founder, Late Hajee A. Mohamed Ibrahim Sahib.  Mohamed Sathak Thampy, started the Trust to promote Technical Education and train the students to cope with the technological needs of the day.

 Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Engineering campus, sprawling over 70 acres of lush greenery, is located inside the SIPCOT IT Park, Siruseri surrounded by many Multinational IT companies such as TCS, CTS, Intellect, Aspire, Steria, Polaris, FSS, etc. It is on the famous Old Mahabalipuram Road, Chennai,Tamil Nadu.  One can reach the college easily by any mode of transport, both public and private.  The college is well connected by Road, Rail and Air from various parts of the country.

MSAJCE is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated to Anna University Chennai and Government of Tamil Nadu. The college is approved by NAAC with Grade A.

Mohamed Sathak A J College of Engineering offers 24 courses in Full Time mode. It offers a range of 18 UG courses. These courses are aimed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in their field of interest. Candidate can pursue courses like B.E/ B.Tech, MCA, M.E./M.Tech with the stream of Engineering and IT & Software. From introductory courses to more advanced topics, there are a variety of courses to choose from. Courses offered by the institute are well recognized and acknowledged by approving body like AICTE. The Institute offers this course with intake of 387 candidates. Most of the courses are offered at very affordable fees.

A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any one of the Diploma in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / equivalent prescribed for admission to the Degree Course (Refer list of eligible Degree Courses for various Diploma Courses)

B.SC. CANDIDATES :
A pass with prescribed minimum eligibility marks in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with 10+2+3 years pattern and studied core Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level
Note:Candidates with Degree other than Bachelor of Science are not eligible.
For any clarification with regard to Diploma qualification, write a letter to DOTE, get it clarified and then admit students. On any account, candidates without prescribed qualifications will not be given admission approval.

Minimum Eligibility Marks:
Both Diploma and B.Sc. qualified candidates have to obtain the following minimum eligibility marks for admission to Lateral Entry as prescribed in G.O. (Ms.) No.263, Higher Education (J2) Department, dated: 30.6.2008 and as per directions issued in Government Letter No.5464 / J1 / 2011-1, Higher Education Department, dated:4.7.2011

A hygienic canteen is available for dining within the premises. An entertainment hall with LCD- TV, indoor game facilities, reading room with news papers and popular magazines are available. The Hostel has land-line telephone and Wi-Fi internet access.

The College is easily accessible from Chennai Central Railway Station, Tambaram Railway Station and CMDA Bus station by the state operated transport service. In addition, The College provides its own transportation for students and staff residing in and around the campus. The Institute has 22 buses, One Tata ACE, One Ambulance for the benefit of students and the staff. The transport facility is available from various places in Chennai, Chengalpattu, Kanchipuram and Thiruvallur districts to the institute on all working days. The bus facilities are being utilized for local social service activities, Sports, NCC/ NSS activities, Placement and Training activities, industrial visits and educational trips. . Our transport facilities ensure that our students and staff are able to reach the college in time with utmost care and ease.

A transport committee, headed by a Convener, is formed to take care of the smooth operation of buses. The staff in-charge of the buses (one teaching and one supporting staff) ensure the smooth functioning of the buses. The Transport committee meets once in Six months and the Principal and the staff in-charge of the buses attend the meeting.
