 About

The Nandha Medical College and Hospital, often known as Nandha Medical College, is private medical college established in 2023 in Tamil Nadu under the aegis of Sri Nandha Educational Trust (1992) with the conscious efforts of its Chairman Thiru. V. Shanmugan, an eminent professional cum industrialist and a philanthropist par excellence. He is a leader with foresight and integrity with a vision to enrich education, promote the interests of students in rural areas, offer them easy access to quality higher education, and build confidence in them to prove their realm of success.  He, along with his family members as trustees, have  committed themselves   to  establish many educational institutions in a short period of time.   As a reminiscence of the silver jubilee celebration, the Trust has started various hospitals in the Indian system of medicine.  And later, to cater to the needs of the public, the Trust has started a full-fledged Medical College and Hospital with 330 beds with a focus on imparting education to poor and economically backward students. The Trust strictly implements a reservation policy while admitting students to the above institutions. 

Nandha Medical College and Hospital is located ideally in 25 acres sprawling campus on the Erode-Perundurai State Highway (NH18), 6km away from Erode town in Pichandampalayam, Perundurai Rd, Mettukadai, Erode, Villupuram, Tamil Nadu.

NMCH is affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai and is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

Nandha Medical College offers MBBS program for 150 seats under Full Time Mode. The qualifying entrance exam is NEET UG.  The Counselling Conducted Authority is the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

Admission Procedure

Admission to Nandha Medical College and Hospital, Erode, for the MBBS program is primarily based on the NEET UG score, followed by the Tamil Nadu state counseling process.
