Nehru College of Management, established in 1996, is a prestigious, private, stand-alone B-School with a rich heritage.  It is promoted by Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust headed by Managing Trustee & Founder Chairman Mr. P.K. Das, F.I.E., F.I. Mech.E., M.S.Engg., A.F.R.Ae.S. (London), C.Engg., who is a well known educationist with rich experience in meticulously planning in establishing and marvelously administering educational institutions.  He is a great industrialist with overwhelming spirit of entrepreneurship and excellent business acumen–who is a philanthropist with utmost care and concern for suppressed and suffering human beings – who is, in a nutshell,l humane in all his approaches. Nehru College of Managementis sponsored by the Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust and is affiliated with Bharathiar University.  The College is approved by AICTE and UGC.  NCM is accredited with B++ Grade by NAAC and is ISO certified. It is also a member of the CII and CMA. Nehru College of Management is ranked 93 for MBA by The Times 2022.

    NCM is known for offering some flagship courses - MBA, MCA MPhil (CS) & Management, PhD (CS) and Management.in different disciplines of management studies and computer applications.  MBA admission is granted on the basis of a graduate degree in any stream and the selection of the candidates is based on the score of CAT/ CMAT/ TANCET along with the performance in GD and personal interview.  MCA requires the candidates to have a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects for admission. The selection for admission to MCA is done on the basis of TANCET score.  Candidates seeking admission in Ph.D are required to have a Master’s degree in relevant subjects with minimum 55% marks and admission to Ph.D will be granted on the basis of UGC NET score. The college also offers Value Added Certification Courses ( Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Airline & Airport Management ).

ADMISSION

NCM Coimbatore MBA And MCA Admission

Nehru College of Management offers two PG Programs under different disciplines of specializations viz. MBA & MCA. 

Eligibility:

The basic criterion to take admission in any of these two courses is to have obtained a graduate degree with minimum 50% marks. However, for MCA, Mathematics is a compulsory subject till graduation level.

Selection Process:

Selection of the candidates in MBA is based on the score of CAT/ CMAT/ TANCET while for MCA, it is TANCET qualification only, followed by GD and PI.

The aspiring candidates who wish to take admission in any of the courses offered by Nehru College of Management, must register themselves for CAT/ CMAT/ TANCET/ UGC-NET on the respective official websites.

To apply for admission in this college, below are mentioned the steps to be followed –

• Candidates must visit the college to obtain the prospectus and application form by paying a nominal application fee.
• Fill the form correctly.
• Affix the photographs on the designated places in the application form.
• Attach the documents, as mentioned below –
1. Class 10 and 10+2-mark sheet and passing certificate
2. Bachelor’s degree and mark sheet
3. Master’s degree and mark sheet
4. CAT/ CMAT/ TANCET/ UGC-NET Admit card & Score Card
5. Caste Certificate, if applicable.
6. Passport sized photographs
• Submit the filled application form along with the aforementioned documents to the admission office of the college.
