The Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET), established in 1996, is an institution that strives to provide students with quality education and skills for their future careers. The Director of Technical Education of the Government of Tamil Nadu is the supervisory authority over the College. The College is a co-educational self-financed private institution and aims at Excellence and Leadership in the field of Technical Education. 

PCET is located on a sprawling 30 acres of land surrounded by green fields and coconut groves on its three sides, and industry on the fourth.  It is situated 15 kilometres from the Coimbatore International Airport on NH 47, Avinashi - Coimbatore Road, Kaniyur, about 28 km east of the Industrial city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

Park College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, which is the top 5th university of India and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Delhi. The college has been accorded ISO 9002 Certificate.  PCET Coimbatore has received NAAC A+ accreditation.

The PCET Coimbatore courses includes B.E/B. Tech, M.E / M.Tech, and MBA courses in various disciplines of engineering and technology Courses offered by institute are well recognized and acknowlegded by approving body like AICTE.  The college follows the admission criteria of Anna University and accepts the scores of TANCET and GATE for PCET, Coimbatore admission to PG courses. The PCET B.Tech admission is carried out based on marks obtained in previous qualifying examinations, followed by TNEA counselling.  Most importantly, these courses with 990 seats are imparted at affordable fees, which increase accessibility and allow students to gain knowledge and skills in their chosen field.

The college has an effective Placement Cell to cater to the placement needs of the students.

The College provides for learning in its class rooms and laboratories, during the regular working hours and also outside the class-rooms, beyond the working hours. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions: There is a 5% fee hike after every 4 years. Coimbatore city is quite costlier than other major city in Tamilnadu. The fee structure is competitively lower than other institutions in Coimbatore, annually fee submission is here. There are various government scholarships in college help students to get that. Finance assistance is also provided by the college for education loans.

LIBRARY

The Library of Park College of Engineering and Technology has set its vision as to satisfy the user community. The library is situated on the ground floor of Techno Park with a floor area of about 8000 sq.ft. The library has ever-growing collections of Books, Periodicals, CD’s, Back Volumes, Projects, etc in various branches of Engineering, Science and Technology. The main aim of the central library is to provide information Services, access to print and e-resources, to support the staff and students community. The library is fully computerized. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) system is available at the library to verify the current status of the books with minimum keywords. Open Access System is being followed in the central library

.HOSTEL
Park Hostels, usually filled to its capacity, caters to the need of individual students. Wholesome food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, prepared in hygienic conditions, is served and the students are given the choice of deciding the menu. Hostels of single accommodation with international standards are also available in the campus. The girls’ hostel can accommodate 400 students and the boys 650 students.

SPORTS & GAMES
The institute recognises the importance of sportsman spirit and team effort for students. This can be learned in congenial environment through sports and games. For this the Campus has adequate sports facilities and state-of-the-art infrastructure. A number of inter and intra college sports events are organized throughout the year to enable the students to develop a spirit of healthy competition and team effort. The Campus has adequate sports infrastructure in the sprawling ground of 12 acres various sports activities such as, e.g. Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess and several other indoor and outdoor games. Along with the sports we provide Gym facilities to our students to make them strong and brave. Special fee concession for sports quota.

Our commitment to our budding sportsmen doesn’t stop at simply encouraging them. We offer concrete rewards in the form of a yearly scholarship program which awards scholarships of up to Rs. 10 lakhs to sports achievers.

INTERNET FACILITIES
Apart from the computer laboratories setup for syllabus programs the Institutes have provided computer centers for general purposes and learning during extra hours. This includes Internet Facilities available through leased line and Wi-Fi for providing continuous and uninterrupted internet connectivity to students and faculty members. These facilities are also available to students beyond college hours for preparation of seminars & projects and research-orientated work. The entire campus including the hostels is Wi-Fi enabled and students can access the internet on their laptops round the clock.
