R P Sarathy Institute of Technology ( Autonomous) RPSIT (formerly known as Narasu’s Sarathy Institute of Technology) is a Top Grade and Reputed Institution in the State of Tamil Nadu. The Institute was founded in the year 2008 by the Smt Mahalakshmi Ammal Educational Trust under its visionary Founder, the Late Sri R P Sarathy. His Grandson, Mr B Nitish Harihar is the Chairman & Mrs Aishwarya Nitish is the Pro Chairman of the Institute. The vision of the Late Founder based on which the Institute was established was in providing quality technical education to aspiring engineering students in the region has enriched the lives of many families. His enthusiasm and energy has empowered both staff and students to give their best in all their endeavours.

Situated over a sprawling 22.5 acre of which the Institute of Technology occupies a 5.35 acre campus with lush lawns, a beautiful landscape, aesthetic architecture and avant-garde infrastructure, the College epitomizes an exemplary setting for higher learning. The College is located at Poosaripatty Village, Omalur Taluk, Kadayampatty, Salem , Tamil Nadu. Admission Procedure

Admissions to undergraduate engineering courses (B.E./B.Tech) are primarily conducted through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process, which is based on the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examination with subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Training & Placement Cell at R P Sarathy Institute of Technology, provides personal and career-oriented support to its students. The main motive is to enable the students to effectively cope-up with academics at college and also for successful careers after graduating. Apart from the training provided during the regular course curriculum, the college also provides an extensive training program of about 100 hours during the vacation period after the pre-final year exams to prepare the students for the recruitment process in their final year.
