RVS Dental College & Hospital (RVS DC&H) situated on Trichy Road on the outskirts of Coimbatore, was established under the aegis of Rathinavel Subramaniam (RVS) Educational Trust (1983)  in the year 2008 by the Chairman who is an Agricultural doyen and Industrialist turned Educationist Dr K V Kupuswamy, with the vision to “create, integrate and disseminate knowledge".  His unflinching dedication and hard work has paved way for the steadily evolved meritorious college into an emerging and progressive institution that has achieved regional excellence in the field of Dental Education and striving hard to contribute to oral health care to society.

RVSDC&H is located in a beautiful campus in Kumaran Kottam Campus, Kannampalayam, Sulur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

RVSDC&H is Affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai.  It is recognized by The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Dental Council of India, New Delhi in January 2013.  The college is Accredited by NAAC  (A++) and NIRF.

RVS Dental College offers Bachelor’s degree course of 5 years duration leading to B.D.S Degree with total intake of 100 seats.  It also offers PG course of MDS with a total intake of 16 seats in various specialisations.  The eligibility for admission to the courses is NEET and NEET MDS exams.

We are dedicated to promote oral health care through education, research and oral rehabilitation with tender loving care for children.
Our aim is to provide quality dental treatment in a very innovative and child friendly environment, thus imparting positive attitude towards dental care, thus making it a pleasant experience.
The mission of the department is to lead the specialty to newer horizon by integrating innovation, technology and community service for prevention of variuos dental diseases occuring in children, into the curricular program.
To achieve this vision the department constantly strives to utilize the vast experience of teaching faculty, encourage community based dental learning programs and create an atmosphere encouraging research activities.
