SIM is a unique initiative of Susheela Iyengar Education Trust (SIET) that envisions imparting high end Management Education and Skills to budding aspirants. The whole admission process for all the courses offered is offline and merit-based. Any candidate who fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria can take part in the admission process. Admission to all the courses is based on the marks scored by the applicant in the concerned qualifying examination.

Placement is not all about getting a Job in a well known organization; but kind of a job responsibility, the employee is going to handle at the workplace, also matters the most. Recent surveys show that many MBA graduates have taken job in big organizations, but at a very basic entry level position which was meant for non MBA graduates. At SIM, we strive our best to place students in good organizations with mid-level positions and above. Going further, we also want the placed students to become an asset to the organization who will be an instrument for mutual and company growth. From the very early years of the inception, though this is one of the strongest challenges we are been facing, we have always achieved our good placement objective. Today SIM has established excellent brand equity with the global corporate world. SIM has an exclusive placement cell, which understand the fact that placement is not just a mere course-end ritual. It works throughout the year to develop associations with corporate organizations, and mentor students with required guidance and skills to make them employable. Cell organizes all required trainings which will equip the students with the required skills, knowledge and analytical mind-set required to identify and solve problems, effective communication skills to communicate these solutions, and sufficient practical exposure to create action plans and implement them.

SIM Placement cell, also gets the feedback on the curriculum from industries and academic professionals very regularly. Timely upgrade on the teaching methodology and curriculum is done to ensure that our students are abreast with changing times.
