As one of the few NAAC accredited (A-Grade) institutions in the region, Sri Kaliswari College is poised to become one among the premiere educational institutions in the country. Thanks to the unceasing efforts of the trustees of Sri Kaliswari Trust, and the faculty, the college as a whole, is dedicated to raising the bar of infrastructure and elevating wholistic education to international standards.

Incepted in the year 2000 in Sivakasi, the college was expanded and moved to a larger campus in A- Meenakshipuram, seven kilmetres from Sivakasi, by 19 th March, 2001. Recognised by the UGC, Sri Kaliswari College became autonomous in 2012.

SKC offers seventeen Undergraduate Programmes and nine Postgraduate Programmes. In addition to these, the college also offers five Research Programmes.

The college has partnered with colleges in the region, national, education institutions, industries and companies.

SKC also offers its students several Certificate Courses, aimed at enhancing the employability of the students. Carrier Guidance Programme and Guidance for Competitive Examinations is regularly provided.

SKC is one of the few educational institutions in the region to provide a community college, where deserving students are given vocational training and education free of cost.

SKC’s campus is verdant, with lush greenery on the one hand, and every conceivable amenity for the students on the other. Application Procedure
Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi offers admission to its three-year UG Programme for 2023-2024 Academic Year. Students who appear for the 12th standard board examination (or equivalent) in 2023 and those who have passed this examination in 2022 are eligible to apply for admission to UG Programme.

Meritorious students from other colleges will be given concession(Subject to conditions)

For PG admission 25% tutiton fee concession will be allowed to the Alumini of Kaliswari College in all the 4 Semesters

College does not accept capitation/donations for admissions. If any such demands are made by agents/middlemen or any other person, it may be brought to the notice of the management of our college.

Transport Facility

Sri Kaliswari College operates 25 buses for the convenience of students and staff coming from in and around Sivakasi and also from the suburbs like Virudhunagar, Tirumanagalam, Sivakasi, Srivilliputhur, Rajapalayam, Sattur, Aruppukottai, Peraiyur, Aalangulam, Vembakottai. This transport facility is also used for various educational purposes like field trips, industrial visits and recruitments. Our bus facilities enables the students safer travel. For the benefit of those students who are attending special classes, using Internet facility, Library etc., special buses to limited destinations are arranged everyday which leave the campus at 5.30 p.m.
