Sri Parasakthi College for Women was established in 1964 at Courtallam, with an appropriate and powerful name Sri Parasakthi under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Board of Tamil Nadu, with the Commissioner, H.R &C.E (Admn.). The college was instituted with the sole objective of promoting womens’ education. Sri Parasakthi College for Women, situated on the lap of sylvan settings and surrounded by silver cascades, is a source of knowledge with high aims and ideals as the lodestar in its path of progress.

Admission Procedure
The applications to all courses are to be submitted only through Online.
The last date for submitting application for the UG courses is the
10th day from the publication of the +2 result of the Tamil Nadu state.
For PG Courses it shall be the 10th day from the publication of UG results.
All candidates will be selected on the basis of merit only.
The selected candidates will be intimated by a message through their registered Mobile
Number & E-mail id.
Fee has to be paid on the day of admission in the College.
RESERVATION
Procedure for Differently Abled quota
a) Out of the quota of 19% (15% SC, 3% SCA and 1% ST) reserved for SC/SCA/ST, 5 out
of every 100 seats shall be reserved for Differently Abled persons belonging to SC/SCA
and ST.
b) Out of the quota for 50% (26.5% BC, 3.5% for BCM and 20% MBC/DNC) reserved for
Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities, 5 out of every
100 vacancies/seats shall be reserved for Differently Abled persons belongs to BC, BCM,
MBC and DNC.
c) Out of the quota of 31% intended for open competition 5 out of every 100 seats shall be
reserved for Differently Abled in general.

We provide 24 hours water and power supply to Science Lab., Administrative Section and Auditorium ensured through generators and we provide hostel facility for under-graduate and post-graduate students.
