Admission
Admissions to any course are made for one academic year only.
Students will be admitted to the next higher class (subsequent academic years) on the basis of fresh application

Applications by post or in person should reach the Principal soon after the publication of the result of the S.S.L.C. or Pre- University examinations but within the last date notified on the Notice Board of the College
Marks obtained should be entered on the application form.
Xerox copy of caste certificate and income certificate should be attached to the application form wherever applicable.
Incomplete application forms will be rejected.
Students will have to opt for one or more co-curricular activities from the list given in the application for admission. Credits will be awarded to the activities and achievements and considered for the marks in the final examination.

Income Certificate form No.3 or No.4 in the case of students who wish to apply for fee concession (income of parent or guardian should be less than Rs. 44,500/- per year).

Admission
According to the P.U. Board/University regulations, all admissions made by the College are provisional and subject to the final approval of the P.U. Board/University.
A Candidate who withdraws after completing his/her admission shall forfeit any claim to the fees paid by him/her and no TC will be issued to him/her unless he/she pays a year’s tuition fees.
A student who is admitted to the College shall undergo a medical examination arranged by the College.
The College expects every student to maintain a high standard of conduct, regularity in attendance and urge in studies.
Students must be prepared to abide by the rules and regulations of the institution.
Rules of Disciplines
The students of the College must maintain high standards of behavior both inside the College and outside it.
They should abide by the College regulations set forth in the present Calendar and also by such other regulations as may be formulation from time to time by the Principal. Noncompliance with any of these regulations will be deal with by the Principal in the way which he deems fit; and his decision will be final in these matters.
Irregularity in attendance, constant indifference to studies, frequent avoidance of assignments, avoidance of tests and examinations held by the College, discourtesy to the teachers, insubordination, obscenity in word or deed, moral delinquency on any of these will render a student liable to punishment by the Principal and the punishment may even be so stringent as expulsion.
Except with the consent of the Principal obtained in writing, no student shall be a member of any club, association, society, union or other organizations not organized by the College. No students shall be member of any political party whatsoever; not of any “Sena,” “Sevadal or Sevaksanga” organised outside the College. No student shall participate in any campaign, demonstration, agitation, strike, hartal or satyagraha directed whether against the College, the University of the Government. Any violation of this rule may lead to the erring student’s expulsion from the college.
A minimum of 75% attendance in each subject is mandatory as per University regulations.
Students attending special NCC, NSS camps or Co-curricular activities during working days should inform the Principal in advance to claim attendance later on this ground. Even here, a claim can be made only if it is supported by documentary evidence. A student cannot claim attendance based on flimsy reasons (excursion, voluntary work, etc.)

Based upon the EAMCET rank, the course is placed first preference CSE, second ECE, third IT, fourth mechanical, fifth civil. The highest salary offered is 1 Lac per month. The lowest offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiters are Tata Consultancy Services and Capgemini. The highest salary package offered is 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Almost 75% of the students get an internship.

SCHOLARSHIPS
In accordance with the vision statement, the Institute wants to facilitate the students belonging to socially and economically challenged families. We are aware that financial constraints may hinder the process of educational empowerment of students especially women students and students who dwell in rural areas. In this regard, it becomes our sacred duty to extend financial support to needy students in the form of scholarships/freeships.

A large number of books provided under the book bank scheme also requires support and cooperation from stakeholders and philanthropists to provide more scholarships/freeships.
It is our resolve that students must be facilitated to avail of scholarships/freeships from the Government, Non-Government agencies, Institutes, Management and Education philanthropists.
A Nodal Officer has been appointed in the college to extend possible support to the students’ fraternity to avail various scholarships. The college computer lab facility can be availed by students to apply for scholarships. The College support staff will keep the records of the scholarship details.
Fee Concession on Tuition fees can be availed by Female students as per the notification of the Department of Collegiate Education.
The President of Udupi Admar Mutt Education Trust also extends the scholarship to the deserving students as per the recommendations of the Principal of the college.
The Staff Council extends financial aid to needy students of Bachelor of Arts to support them to continue their education amidst of their poor economic background

Fee Concession, freeships, scholarships and loan scholarships are granted strictly in accordance with rules prescribed by the Director of College Education or the Director of Social Welfare or the D.P.I. as the case may be.
