The Sri Revana Siddeshwara Institute of Technology is an engineering school that is private situated in Bangalore, Karnataka, India associated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. It was established in the year 2000 by Sri R. Krishnappa and is administered under the Revana Siddeshwara Edu Trust. This school is affiliated with VTU, Belgaum and approved by AICTE, New Delhi and provides students with the opportunity to develop a deeper knowledge of what is happening around them through applying the knowledge of concepts and ideas that they are given.

Eligibility Criteria

B.E
Eligibility to join the 4 year Bachelor of Engineering courses of the Visvesvaraya Technological University is a pass in the two – year Pre University Examination (Science) conducted by the Karnataka State Pre University Board or any other examination recognised by the University as equivalent thereto, subject to their having obtained a 45% ( 40% for SC/ST ,Cat I,IIA, IIB,IIIA & IIIB ) of marks in aggregate in the three subjects of Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects namely Chemistry, Biology & Biotechnology.

M.Tech
Eligibility to join the 2 year Master of Technology course of the Visvesvaraya Technological University is a pass in the Bachelors Degree course in Mechanical Engineering from AICTE recognized University subject to aggregate of 50% of marks for General Category and 45% marks for SC/ST, Cat I,IIA, IIB,IIIA & IIIB. Candidates should have appeared from PGCET/GATE.

Diploma
Eligibility to join the 3 year Diploma of Engineering courses of the Directorate of Technical Education is a pass in the SSLC Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Secondary Examination Board or X Standard or any other examination recognised by or as equivalent thereto , subject to their having obtained a 35% aggregate.

Training and Placement Cell of SRSIT is established with a goal of not only securing placements for students but also to make them competent enough to face the corporate world. Training and Placement Department is headed by an Experienced Placement Officer Mrs. Sowmya R Raghavendra, assisted by Placement coordinators from all departments. We view it as a medium or way which provides vertical mobility to our students. The department is provided with all the facilities to enable the deserving students of the Institution to get competitive placements. The college has an exclusive placement & training department to facilitate on- campus and off campus placement opportunities to the students.

The transport department consists of 10 Swaraj Mazda buses to transport the students from the College to the various parts of Bangalore and thereby facilitating the students and the staff members..well equipped buses with GPS and other features.
