St. Anne’s Degree College for Women was established in the year 2005 and administered by Society of sisters of St.Anne-Madras with a vision “to provide humanizing and liberalizing education so as to form responsible citizens who in solidarity with others create a just society”. The Foundress Servant of God Mother Thatipatri Gnanamma is a visionary and missionary who dedicated her life to enlighten and educate poor young girls in 1863 by starting an educational institutions exclusively for girls.

The Society of Sisters of St. Anne, Madras, has a long history of over 156 years in the field of education. The secret of the success in education is our proud historical legacy from where we derive our strength to face the challenges and grab the opportunities. Over the years, We have been marching ahead with new ventures and innovations in tune with the changing times.

The College is affiliated to Bengaluru Central University and offers undergraduate programmes in Arts, Science, Computer Applications, Commerce and Management. It provides a vibrant student life, co-curricular and extracurricular activities and campus placement to the students which make this institution stand in par with the other institutions.

Since a humble beginning in 2005, there has been no looking back and every year the college crosses new milestones. In 2016 the college was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council with B Grade and 2.52/4 CGPA. The College offers post-graduation programmes from 2017 onwards.

Our institution is basically a women’s college, only women candidates will be admitted. After filling up all the necessary details, candidates should take the printout of the filled-in application and the same should be submitted to the College Office either in person or by post, addressed to The Principal, St. Anne’s Degree College for Women, No:23, Cambridge Road, Halasuru, Bangalore-560008, immediately after the publication of II PUC / +2 results.

The mark statements downloaded from the internet should be attested by the Principal or a Gazetted Officer. All filled-in applications should reach the College Office within 10 working days from the date of issuing of II PUC/+2 mark statement.

Applications submitted after ten working days will be treated as LATE APPLICATIONS. The list of provisionally selected candidates will be published on the college notice board. The candidates will have to appear for a personal interview along with their parents. If any candidate fails to appear for the interview at the notified time, the provisional selection will automatically get cancelled. After the interview, the eligible candidates must be prepared to pay the fee immediately.

St.Anne’s Placement cell plays a critical role in networking graduating students with the industry. It prepares the students for the process of recruitment and simultaneously create awareness among companies about the recruitment opportunities at St.Anne’s. Potential recruiters are given structural support for scheduling interviews, hosting seminars, group discussions and written tests.

1. A special Campus to corporate training program is conducted for final year students in resume building, aptitude training, group discussions, Public Speaking ,general knowledge, current affairs, etc.
   
2. Mock interviews are conducted by inviting HRs and Technical Experts from reputed companies.
   To get real-world work culture exposure, short industrial tours to neighboring companies and extended visits to distant industries / organizations of national are conducted each year.
   
3. Regular training classes are conducted, on campus, at the Digital English Language Lab to improve the communication skills of students. With a focus on Campus Recruitment, special training classes are conducted in association with professional training institutes and specialists in personality development, etiquette, grooming etc.
   
4. On campus training for competitive exams like CET, PGCET, BANKING, and CAT etc is also offered.
   
5. In order to bridge the gap between the Campus curriculum and industry needs, the college offers various short-term certificate training programs.
6. These programs include Business Analytics , Big data ,Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, ERP , Banking , CRM , Data Mining, Data Visualization etc
   
7. Seminars and workshops are conducted on entrepreneurship development.
